OUR HISTORY: HOW FAR WE'VE COME
In 2004, Mike Russalesi and Tom Cowan founded Synergy Software Design (now known as Synergy 360), a custom software development company. We worked with the US Navy to develop SPIDERS 3D, a 3D visualization tool for large scale collaboration around US Navy base planning. Throughout that time, we brought on a team of 3D modelers in order to populate this application. We also worked on several other projects related to waterfront structure inspection and US military facilities, working along side engineering and architecture firms on 3D modeling and visualization. We became more and more immersed in the 3D technology space, eventually expanding out to laser scanning, LiDAR, and reality capture technology. In 2019, SiteScout360 was born.
For the past 19 years, we have provided 3D modeling and rapid on-site data collection support as well as built space management and planning software applications for the US Navy and Architecture & Engineering firms. Through our unique blend of skills in software development and large scale structural 3D modeling, we have built processes and software to facilitate the collection and transformation of on-site data. We focus on capturing as much information as possible and distilling just what is needed for specific projects. Our team has created a data collection and output plan that minimizes cost and maximizes sharing of information, with the overall effect of reducing time on-site, increasing accuracy, and increasing project profitability.
